ABOUT

ABOUT

Noémie Dahan is a French-Israeli singer, songwriter, and translator known for her delicate voice, poetic lyrics, and genre-blending soundscapes. She discovered her love for Hebrew through Israeli songs played at home. Her deep connection to the language led her to move to Israel and release her debut Hebrew album Ma Ze Rahok - How far is.

Noémie's work explores themes of identity, memory, and everyday intimacy, often weaving Hebrew and French in a dreamlike fusion. Her musical style is rooted in alternative pop with cinematic and electronic undertones, enriched by collaborations with renowned Israeli artists such as Eran Tzur & Ofer Meiri (Ayelet Ahavim, Chocolad Gaguim), and Eran Weitz (Ani rotsa yeled ba stav).

She will soon release Amour Quotidien, a French rendition of a Yehudit Ravitz song, produced by BENJA (Ofir Benyaminov of TATRAN). The track blends dark, ethereal textures with lyrical depth, turning the Israeli landscape into a mythical realm.

Her song Ya Oumi was also featured in David Ofek’s documentary The Missing Million, screened at the ANU Museum.

As a translator, Noémie brought Yehudit Ravitz’s beloved classic “Hayalda Hakhi Yafa Bagan” ("La Petite Fille La Plus Jolie Du Monde") to French audiences and has surpassed 1 million streams on Spotify, highlighting the emotional power and cultural resonance of her cross-language work.
